One thing that I never thought of until today was the issue of height with the Kinect camera for the Xbox 360.
When I first got the Kinect, I had it mounted about 4 1/2 feet off the ground and I would stand about 6 1/2 feet away from the camera. I had no issues with the Kinect seeing me or my face and would track me quite easily.
Now today we got a new TV stand that is much lower and the camera is now at a height of 32 inches, …

I just finished playing with the KINECT for the Xbox 360. I have to say I am pleased. I also picked up Kinectimals with it and my 2 year old daughter that it was fantastic. She did not quite get how to play it, but she loves kitties. Or as Dragon would call it: Nuremberg exams of saved parrots. Don’t even get me started on Microsoft’s attempts at voice-recognition.
Even if they were to …

I do like seeing whatever Ben comes up with next, even though to me a lot of it looks like it would not be that useful. But this, this is one I think I would want. Actually, I know I would want it. Xbox 360 in laptop format. Fantastic. Think of how easy it would be to travel with it. I wonder if he would sell me one? – read more -
