One thing that I never thought of until today was the issue of height with the Kinect camera for the Xbox 360.
When I first got the Kinect, I had it mounted about 4 1/2 feet off the ground and I would stand about 6 1/2 feet away from the camera. I had no issues with the Kinect seeing me or my face and would track me quite easily.

I just finished playing with the KINECT for the Xbox 360. I have to say I am pleased. I also picked up Kinectimals with it and my 2 year old daughter that it was fantastic. She did not quite get how to play it, but she loves kitties. Dragon Natural Speaking is the world’s most famous voice-recognition software. It’s gone  through ten versions. And although there’s been serious improvement from when I started experimenting with it on version 5 or 6, the bottom line is it still sucks. Even with training and a good mic, I still can’t get it to write a single e-mail or essay without encountering numerous examples of self-parody.
