Overcooked Review with kids – Unfortunately this is not a game for young kids

Overcooked by Ghost Town Games is a one to four player party type game where to goal is to cook all the orders coming into your restaurant with your team of chefs. Each level can offers a different layout and obstacles and sometimes different recipes for your team to cook. The rounds are short, fast paced and it is a great game to play with a bunch of friends.
That being said, I wanted to play this game with my kids. They also wanted to play it as soon as they …

Destiny – not Halo Online

Before I started playing Destiny, I had not played the beta and I had not read any other opinions about it. I wanted to give it all my attention without being affected by anything else. This WAS the company that gave me Halo and I was hoping to get a similar experience.
On a side note, I bought Destiny on Xbox One a week before launch so it was ready to go as soon as it was released. This is the way games should be purchased, optical discs are the worst …

Staring Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Megan Fox the movie Jonah Hex as based on the DC comic of the same name. KINECT ISSUES – My response

Let me start this off by saying that I do not work for Microsoft, or any company that competes with Microsoft. I am not getting paid anything to write about the Kinect hardware at all. I bought it with my own money and am obligated to no one in regards to it. This is just my honest opinion and is only influenced by my decades of gaming experience.
There are a lot of reviews of the KINECT hardware out there, written by a lot of big name gaming and traditional news …

9

This movie looks fantastic. The trailer is great and makes me want to see it for sure. Although I love Tim Burton movies so I may be a little biased. But check out the trailer for yourself here.
The scientist from the movies has his own facebook page where you can learn about the events happening up until the release of the film. You can also check out his lab here.
Lastly, here is a little image gallery of the 9 stitchpunk characters from the movie.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Just saw the trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and it is looking fantastic. I have enjoyed the entire Call of Duty series but I have logged the most time in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Most of that time was spent in multiplayer, and still play it from time to time with friends. I am looking forward to this next version.
Check out the trailer below for yourself!

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is an action-RPG that I just started reviewing. I’ve only had a chance to create my character and play around with the controls, kill a few bad guys. Seems like it is going to be a good game, but I will tell you now that you are going to need a good TV to play it on. I tried it out on m y old 20 inch standard def TV downstairs and I could not read any of the text. Being an RPG, there is a …

Plants Vs Zombies

I am currently going through this game for a review and I have to say that I like it more than I thought I would. I don’t normally play this type of game, but it has kept me entertained so far.
It is basically a tower defense game where you have to defend your house from the brain eating zombies. In the story mode each round you play earns you either a new plant to help defend your house, or a new mode of play. You can also earn money to …

Chronicles of Riddick – Assault on Dark Athena

So how can I sum up this game really quickly for you? How about violently fun? Yes, that will do nicely. Even though this game is not as impressive graphically as I am used to, the game and game play more than make up for it.
I would also like to mention that the entire Chronicles of Riddick – Escape from Butcher Bay has been re-mastered and is included on the disc as well. That’s right, two games in one. I have not had a chance to play it yet, but …
