I think the developers just see it is an easy way to make income off an already successor product such as a Television show. People will buy it just because they like said show.

No. I wouldn’t boycott EA for that. DRM is stupid and it’s not helping them, but really, it’s not THAT bad. I don’t install my games to that many machines, and even if I have to reinstall it 3 times, all you have to do is call the EA help desk and they’ll reset your count. Annoying to be sure, but it’s not so horrible that you can’t enjoy the games.
