This video is the reason that the Xbox pleads with you to make sure you have enough space around you to play with the Kinect. We all knew that videos like this were coming, but it is still just as entertaining.

One thing that I never thought of until today was the issue of height with the Kinect camera for the Xbox 360.
When I first got the Kinect, I had it mounted about 4 1/2 feet off the ground and I would stand about 6 1/2 feet away from the camera. I had no issues with the Kinect seeing me or my face and would track me quite easily.

Let me start this off by saying that I do not work for Microsoft, or any company that competes with Microsoft. I am not getting paid anything to write about the Kinect hardware at all. I just finished playing with the KINECT for the Xbox 360. I have to say I am pleased. I also picked up Kinectimals with it and my 2 year old daughter that it was fantastic. She did not quite get how to play it, but she loves kitties. The game that comes with it, Kinect adventures is pretty good too and gives you a great workout with all the jumping and ducking and flailing about you have to do.
